Heartbroken. I'm proud to have enjoyed Stru as a close friend. He didn't suffer fools gladly, and his caustic wit will always be remembered and cherished by me. We've spent many hours laughing over stuff in his back garden while my dogs either ran around ripping up the lawn or dozing on his patio after gorging on the snacks he'd bought them. He's suffered too much, more than most, but he's gone down fighting with courage. His parents were equally dogged and would have been proud of him in how he's handled setback after setback. A lesser person would have succumbed years ago. An unswervingly loyal, very supportive and often hilarious friend, bluntly honest, calling it how he saw it, an outstanding BDM (I know of none better), he was a natural raconteur who you could listen to for hours. He's advised me on many things, particularly career-wise and I'll miss him until I join him once more. Thanks for the friendship Stru. I'll see thee again lad, but not yet. Not yet. Journey well my dear friend 💔 😭 x

You will always be in our hearts and in our thoughts and so many memories to treasure. Curries in Wetherby will never be the same and I hope someone can still put that concrete block (Full story will cheer anyone for years to come) under your TV into another future project as your work I know will live on.
